Red Granite 2-5mm

Granted Red Granite 2–5mm is a coarser, angular aggregate used where a more aggressive surface profile is needed to maintain grip at speed. The larger particle size provides increased macrotexture, enabling the surface to break water film quickly and support wet-condition braking on high-speed roads. This grade is suited to A-road networks, approach lanes, slip roads and other areas where high friction performance must be maintained under heavy traffic and challenging weather exposure.
