As the UK’s largest importer and processor of specialist dried aggregates, Grantex operates a strategic network of state-of-the-art dock and production sites, including our Head Office in Derbyshire. This allows us to maintain an impressive production capacity of over 850,000 tonnes per annum and ensure superior supply across the nation and the globe.

Head Office

Youlgrave, Derbyshire

Youlgrave is the original home of the Long Rake Spar Group, dating back to 1867. It is now the site of a major production facility on the site of the former mines and separately in the village is the company head office.

The head office is home to the internal Grantex sales team, as well as core functions such as Logistics, Marketing and Accounts.

Our flagship dock facility at Rye Harbour, East Sussex, receives more than 30,000 tonnes of material by sea and produces approximately 150,000 tonnes of finished product each year. Powered entirely by renewable energy, the site features advanced washing facilities, a 35,000 sq ft warehouse and 52 external storage bays.
