Grantex Specialist Aggregates is proud to be part of the Long Rake Spar group, which has been named winner of the Pro Landscaper Sustainability and Biodiversity Awards 2025.

The award recognises businesses making a meaningful contribution to environmental improvement within the landscaping and wider built environment sectors. For Grantex, this achievement reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to responsible sourcing, efficient production and reducing environmental impact across our operations.

Key sustainability achievements include:

  • 16.8 tonnes of plastic sent for recycling in 2024
  • 90.6MWh of power produced by the new solar array at our Rye Harbour site so far in 2025
  • Emissions reductions in 2025 equivalent to planting 4,952 trees and saving 36.75 tonnes of coal

These initiatives demonstrate that sustainability across the Long Rake Spar group is not a standalone project, but a long-term commitment embedded into how we operate.

As a supplier of specialist aggregates to sectors including resin surfacing, industrial applications, highways, sports surfaces and water filtration, Grantex recognises the importance of balancing product performance with responsible business practice.
